Baked fish with garlic breadcrumbs

The mouth-watering aroma of this simple fish dish baking is sure to lure guests to your kitchen. It makes a lovely and colorful presentation for company or for a quick family gathering. Use fresh breadcrumbs, fresh parsley, they make all the difference. Serve with lemons and a fresh green salad. Tasty and Healthy!!!

Makes 4 servings

Ingredientsbaked fish wiht garlic breadcrumbs

4 fillets firm white fish (about 6 ounces each)

2 tbsp butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, crushed

2 cups fresh bread crumbs

1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

lemon wedges, to garnish and serve


1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Brush an ovenproof dish with olive oil and arrange the fish in a single layer.

2. Mix the butter and garlic in a bowl and set aside. Mix together the breadcrumbs and parsley and scatter in a thick layer over the fish fillets. Drizzle with the butter and garlic.

3. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the fish is cooked and the breadcrumbs are golden brown. Serve with lemon wedges.

Note: If the crumbs are not goldgen but the fish is cooked, put it under the broiler for a couple of minutes. Keep an eye on it because it can burn quickly.
