German Apple Cake

This German Apple Cake is a moist, dense and very flavorful cake that keeps well. It has been a family favorite since I first made it, years ago. It asks for simple ingredients like cinnamon and apples, but the result is a wonderful cake, crusty sweet top and moist mellow inside. It is fantastic!!!
